This first of its kind, FREE, 3-day event brings the resources of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and state and local child protection agencies to the greater El Paso area! Join us October 4-6th, 2022 to learn about missing and sexually exploited child issues, as well as prevention and education programs. Each day will be focused on a particular topic:
- October 4th: Missing Children: Issues & Response (law enforcement & child-serving professionals only)
- October 5th: Exploited Children: Issues & Response (law enforcement & child-serving professionals only)
- October 6th: Family Support & Prevention Messaging (open to all)
For the first two days, NCMEC staff will present on their various programs of work including Team Adam, Vulnerable Communities, Forensic Services, Missing Children Case Support, Child Sexual Abuse Material, and the CyberTipline to name a few! Other speakers include state and regional law enforcement, survivor advocates, and other regional partner organizations covering topics such as Gangs, Child Sex Trafficking, Interdiction Training, and the Survivor Perspective.
The third day, open to the public, will include presentations on NCMEC’s Prevention Programs, Family Support & Services, and Victim Assistance.
